This small Polish city "zalipie" has become a tourist attraction, a beautiful tradition that goes from generations to generations. The women of this city for more than a century decorating their houses; the idea came to cover old stains from their fireplaces and wood stoves to hide the marks and make their homes look beautiful. The vibrant colors that cover every corner of every zalipie house conveys the warmth of this beautiful place and you can appreciate its art expressed in stables, dog house, garbage cans, tradition is maintained every year in the first week After The Feast of Corpus Christi, When a competition is held for the most beautifully decorated cottages It is a beautiful place that would definitely put it on my list to visit and enjoy a wonderful day!
One woman in particular preserved and developed the tradition. Felicja Curyłowa (1904 - 1974) became so obsessed with floral decorations that he covered almost every possible surface of his three-bedroom house with its ornamental ornaments. Not surprisingly, his house is now a museum, to be preserved as the epitome of this wonderful folk art.
