Harvey started his business selling Tax Disc Reminder when drivers would no longer have to display the paper reminders in their windscreens the past year.
He got up to 400 orders per week for his Tax Reminder Disc when a housing development company knocked on his door with the offer.
Student Harvey, from Taunton, told the newspapers: “I was not sure how much they were going to offer for the land, but they came up with £2 million.”
“It was too good to turn down. It’s a massive amount, especially for someone at my age.”
“The neighboring were happy to sell up and they now needed our land so they could start building.”
His dad helped him with £3000 pounds to start-up the business and Harvey took on the challenge.Student Harvey, from Taunton, told the newspapers: “I was not sure how much they were going to offer for the land, but they came up with £2 million.”
“ I’ve taught him you have to work hard to get on in life”-say his father Howard-”He’s a grounded lad and is just a great businessman.”
But Harvey has said his dream is to become a policeman.
